Flexi - time scheme - The company operates a flexible working hours scheme. This enables eligible employees to take one or half a day off every four weeks.

Employee Development
Newark and Sherwood Homes provides on going training for its entire staff so that they can perform effectively in their role and fulfil their own personal career goals.  This is achieved and supported through on the job training, personal skills training, coaching, self learning and gaining professional qualifications.  Newark and Sherwood Homes also encourages learning and empowerment in order to generate new ideas and innovative ways of working. In addtion, all new starters are invited to attend an Induction day which provides new starters with information about the different functions of the organisation and what it is like working for Newark and Sherwood Homes.

Work Experience
A Work Experience Policy is in operation in the company. Placements are available for school age students in specific areas related to subjects studies at school.
